Listen To Your Voice

It’s easy to get trapped into being just another brick in the wall. Someone who blindly follows plans set by others. You don’t have to. When you were a kid, you had your own dreams. A pathway that would have seen you riding unicorns for a living or being a princess or a ballerina. Boys could have imagined themselves as a pirate, a fire truck driver or maybe a footy player.

As kids, we own our dreams. They become our truth. As we get older the dreams change. More often than not they become someone else’s vision. Is it that we stop listening or perhaps we just start listening too much to everyone else? All the advice from your friends and family is just not going to help you find your path. Sure you can talk about it, but the very best advice is always going to come from you to you.

How will you know it’s the right voice? It will talk the truth. It moves you toward love for yourself and others. It ultimately brings satisfaction. It doesn’t come attached to a feeling that something is wrong. It relaxes the body. It brings a sense of clarity, exhilaration, and an undeniable consciousness.

Robert Frost in his poem, The Road You Taken, articulates it best – “Two roads diverged in a wood, and I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.”

You can still live the life that you’ve always wanted. It’s never too late. All you need to do is #listen #truth
